Youth Community Projects

Micro grants of up to $1000 for youth to create a community project.

Project for: 2023- 2024

Goal: Positive impact for 10,000 Long Islanders

Projects Completed:

  • Sayville Daisy Troop helped the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital with craft bags for children being treated. Impact: 100

  • Sayville youth created a list of back to school items for a Back to School BACK PACK project. Supplies will be donated to a Middle Island non-profit serving underserved youth. Impact: 150

  • Sayville youth purchased groceries to make lunches for community members in need in Patchogue. Youth assembled lunches, making sandwiches and packaging the lunches in brown bags for delivery. Impact: 500

  • Projects in the work:

  • Bayport Music teacher working with kids in Bayport on a youth club that teaches about inclusion and leadership. Projected impact: 500

  • Sayville youth are working on purchasing much needed products for the a local soup kitchen and volunteering at the kitchen. The youth are focused on items with their grant money like shampoo, wipes, and soap. Projected impact: 150 - In Progress

We have granted scholarships for local youth since 2020.

Scholarships in the amounts of $250 to $1000 have been given out to youth in local schools of Long Island. Winners of scholarships demonstrated leadership skills, service to the community and a dedication to sports or the arts.
